Alena is a successful long and middle distance professional triathlete and has raced internationally for many years, achieving several top 5 professional Ironman/Ironman 70.3 and Challenge triathlons results, including the ETU European Championships and Xterra European Championships. Alena has also raced Ironman World Championships (Kona, Hawaii) twice and Xterra World Championships (Mauii, HI).
As an age group athlete she became an ITU World Champion and 2 x Ironman age group winner and knows only too well the difficulties of balancing work, family and training.
She is qualified British Triathlon Level 2 coach and herself has been coached by some of the Worlds best coaches with different styles, upon what she developed her very own!
Alena doesn’t consider herself as the most talented athlete, but with hard work, commitment and intelligent training she has achieved results beyond her talent level.
Her coaching is based on similar principles, she is passionate about getting the best out of her athletes and possesses a strong sense of feeling on finding out the blind spots to move up to the next level. Her coaching programs are all designed to be specific to the individual tailored to achieve their goals whilst balancing the demands of personal commitments.
